Baby may be coming a few weeks earlier than expected!
The birth-mother's due date was originally January 25th. However, baby may be here before the New Year! We are beyond excited and doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
In this next stretch of our adoption process, we are starting a crowd-funding campaign. Our goal is to raise $15,000 to cover the remaining adoption costs (this does not include travel or post-placement expenses). This amount will be due at the time of placement, before leaving the hospital. We are trusting the Lord will continue to provide what we need during the next two to three weeks.
Over the last eight months, Joshua and I have been overwhelmed by the generosity of our friends and family, as well as complete strangers who have lovingly donated to our adoption. So far, with your help, we have raised approximately $20,000. These funds have gone towards our home study, legal, and preliminary adoption fees.
We literally could not make this desire of our hearts a reality without HIM and every single one of YOU. We are so excited to see what God has in store for our family, and we hope that you will continue to walk and partner with us during this next phase of our journey!

We are in the process of adopting! We are excited to grow our family, something we have desired for so long. Early in our courtship to marriage we knew we wanted to have children, both biological and adopted, especially since adoption played a big role in Joshua’s family. After three years of marriage, we began trying to get pregnant. However, we have experienced infertility issues the past four years. The majority of that time we discussed when we should begin the adoption process and, after some time, felt a peace to pursue that dream. Over the past year, we have completed all of our paperwork, training classes and home study required to be verified for adoption. About one month ago, we were matched with a child!
We do not take this lightly to be asking so many people to contribute and sacrifice. We are so thankful that God has provided us with the means to care for a child’s daily needs, but in reality there is a substantial amount of money needed to bring our forever child home — approximately $30-40,000.
The amount is significant, but we are stepping out in faith believing God will provide. We know great things will be done through our faith in God!
