So we have BIG news!

WE HAVE JUST MATCHED WITH OUR EXPECTANT MOM.

We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started this crowdfunding campaign (along with another one through Bonfire selling a few tee-shirts). It is probably no surprise to most of you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set an initial goal of $5,000.00 to raise in order to help ease some of the financial requirements we are responsible for.

Your gracious contributions will help us with:

• Reasonable and necessary adoption fees,
• Expectant/birth mother expenses,
• Court costs and attorney fees, ICPC waiting periods,
• Traveling and lodging expenses, and also
• Other expenses that are directly related to and for the principal purpose of the legal adoption of an eligible child.

More than anything, we want you to know that we are grateful for you! We have never been good about asking for money, so we ask mostly for your thoughts, good vibes and prayers, even if you are not lead to give a monetary contribution. We owe everything to a good God, also, who has provided so much for us already and continues to do so! With your help as well, we look forward to being able to open up more to you and learn to lean on you as we need this little extra "TLC". The plain and simple truth is, is that adoption is expensive. Donald and I have always tried to just "fend" for ourselves and have never wanted to cast unnecessary burden on any one; so we both hope that you would allow us to one day pay you back for your generosity. You've already showered so much upon us through your friendship and we are tremendously blessed to know each of you through our many different avenues in life. With your love and support for our adoption, we want nothing better than to tell our sweet child about you all and to show him or her the community we have built around them.
