is adopting a child from China

God has laid on our hearts to raise for His glory two special needs girls from China. Qing Kai is 12 and our family hosted her last Christmas. Cai is 13 and is an albino. We already have guardianship of two sisters that were formerly in foster care. They have been a blessing and we are looking forward to welcoming two more and the unique gifts they will add to our family. The picture is of Nick and Qing Kai after she got her glasses and could see. She was so proud to show Baba, which means Father in Chinese. This was the name she gave him after a week into our hosting time. Seeing the comfort and healing that our two girls we have guardianship of have in each other, we felt that it would help Qing Kai if we could adopt a sister with her. At the end of August we found the perfect one to add to our family, Cai. In her video she is articulate, gentle and smart. Hopefully they will help each other adjust and share a sisterhood that not many can understand. What a privilege we have to share our home and most importantly the love of Christ to these abandoned ones. Pray for us as we endeavor to show the love God has shown through His adoption of us and they will be drawn to and surrender their lives to Him. He is their only hope of true healing and peace.
