As many of you know, we have wanted to have children for several years now. It has been a long and often painful journey. Very early in the process we felt that adoption was the right path for us - there are so many children out there who need a home and we want to open our home to at least one of them. We are now at the place where we are ready and excited to adopt a newborn from somewhere in the U.S.
We’ve set up an account here to accept tax-deductible donations to help us with the significant costs of this process.
Funds raised here will help us with fees related to consultants, home study, agencies, and attorneys.
We are working with Faithful Adoption Consultants and they estimate that consulting and agency fees alone will cost at least $45,000 (yes, that is ridiculous!)
