James Myoung

is adopting a child from Korea (Republic of)

(**Updated on 3/23/16: Thank you for your support & keeping up with our adoption journey. We have lowered our financial goal now to raise $20,000 because of generous donations we&'ve received apart from this site that has helped us reach our original goal. We love you & thank you all!) Our story: On the evening of 11/17/15, we received the phone call that every adoptive parent is eagerly waiting for, "You&'ve got a match!" The waiting period was over & we were anxious to do everything we can so that we can bring our baby home. His name is Benjamin & he is now 9 months old. He&'s a happy child, born in Seoul, Korea & his birth mother gave him the name "Eun-Woo" which means "grace". She tried to raise him but due to unfortunate circumstances on his 27th day after birth she had to give him up for adoption. She told the adoption agency that she named him "Eun-Woo" so that he can grow up in the "grace of God". God has an interesting way of bringing things together because he&'ll be raised by a father who is a Pastor and will pray that Benjamin will grow in the grace of God. We are so incredibly blessed by everyone around us who have been overwhelmingly supportive throughout this process. We cannot wait for Ben to meet everyone who has been praying for him & helping pave the way for him to come. As we enter the last half of our adoption process we hope you would join us in prayer so that we can bring Ben home as soon as possible. With love, Stephanie & James Myoung
