A little about us and our adoption journey…
Aaron and I talked about adoption before we ever got married! We both knew that we wanted adoption to be part of our family's story, but we just didn't know WHEN or HOW. A couple years ago, we pursued foster care and took the required training classes. However, during that time, I became pregnant with Wyatt, and we also received the devastating diagnosis of my mom's brain cancer. God put a hold on our plans for foster/adoption at that time in order to focus on our own family's needs. But now, God has opened the door for our family to adopt through private adoption!
We are now working with an adoption consultant who specializes in domestic infant adoption. Often these babies are considered "hard to place" due to race, lack of prenatal care, mom's history of drug or alcohol use, or other things. We are excited about God's journey for our family and are thankful for your prayers and support!
