We are beyond excited to welcome a beautiful new life into our home through domestic infant adoption. We are doing everything we can to prepare to be the best new parents and provide for a child in need of a home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to know that adoption-related costs can easily be $40,000 or more. We set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. We would not be able to do this without your love and support.

June 2022 - We met our goal of $20,000! Due to COVID, placements were down by almost 50% this year at our agency, but the average wait is still 17-18 months. We have been in the waiting pool for 13 months and are hopeful to be matched with a birth family soon!
May 2021 - We are officially in the waiting pool! Although the average wait is 16 months, we could get a call at any time with a placement. We hope to welcome a baby and his/her birth family into our lives soon!
Feb. 2021 - We are overwhelmed by the generous support we have received. We have raised over $11,000 so far! Our last home study visit is at the end of this month. We are preparing our marketing materials that must be submitted prior to getting on the waitlist. We are hoping to be on the waitlist by late March.
Dec. 2020 - Our application has been approved! We are now completing our home study paperwork. Due to COVID-19, the home study will be conducted virtually and our first of five visits is scheduled for early January. We are hoping to have all the visits completed by the end of January - a busy, but exciting, start to the new year!
