It was in the summer of 2015, when our oldest daughter said during a car ride one day, "Jediah (our only son at the time) really needs a brother". We had 4 biological children at this time and thought that had completed our family. Little did we know that God had more planned for us and he was using our oldest child to put the plan in motion. In April of 2016 we brought our son Xavier home from China. He was 16 months old. In August of the same year the little face in our profile picture popped up on an advocacy Facebook page. We weren&'t quite ready at the time to start a second adoption, but when that same face came up again a month later we just couldn&'t hold out any longer. Now we have preapproval from China to adopt him. We plan to travel in late April/Early May. He will turn 1 year old on May 3 and would love for him to be able to celebrate his first birthday with his forever family.
