They say being crazy is doing the same thing again and again expecting a different outcome. If that’s true then we are crazily pursuing adoption!
Between the two of us we’ve fostered 11 children and had 3 failed adoption matches. However, we are still hopeful that we can one day become forever parents!
We have recently finished our home study (which qualifies us to adopt) and are starting the process to apply to work with various agencies across the country! Private adoptions can cost $60,000 or more! We have already lost thousands through previous failed matches and have spent thousands more to complete our home study and apply to these different agencies. We are now turning to fundraising to help cover some of the costs and ensure we can say yes to adoption situations that may cost more than average due to the needs of the mother or baby.
We are using this platform so any family or friends who would like to contribute to our fundraising efforts can use their donations for tax deduction purposes!
