We have a biological son, Andrew, born May of 2005. He&'ll be 11 this year. Our second blessing came to us through a US domestic adoption in December 2011. Our son, Luke Alexander Lo, was unexpectedly born with a Congenital Heart Defect that was not compatible with life here on Earth. We brought him home from the Children&'s Hospital to pass away peacefully at home with us, his forever family. This led to a very tough 2012 both financially and emotionally. In addition to all of the adoption expenses that we still had to pay, we also took out a loan to provide him with a proper burial and headstone for his grave. Our 2nd Adoption (3rd Son): On Thanksgiving Day 2012, we got up the courage to try again. 22 months later we brought Levi home from China. We adopted him from China&'s Special Needs Waiting Child Program in September 2014 at the age of 26 months. He was born with Tetralogy of Fallot, a Congenital Heart Defect. Our 3rd Adoption (1st Daughter!) : We must really be getting brave now! We plan to return to China over the Summer to adopt an 11 year old who was born with a Neurological condition (Spina Bifida) and has spent her whole life at the orphanage & without a family. We also have a 9 month old foster daughter that we brought home from the hospital when she was 3 days old. We are open to becoming her Forever Family, too. And then our family will be complete!
