GREAT NEWS! As many of you know, we've decided to adopt another child. We are so excited to be on this journey again. We began this adoption last summer and, as predicted, the process has been slower than our first. We were matched in January with a sweet little boy. We originally expected to travel in the early summer, but it is really too early to tell.
In the past weeks, we have been overwhelmed at the support that we received from our family and friends over our exciting news about our adoption. We cannot express, in words, our gratitude for the love that we have been given. Thank you, to everyone who has emailed, Facebook-ed, sent texts or given us hugs in person. We treasure your friendship. You are amazing, amazing people. We know that our new little one will be deeply loved by all of you.
Many people have asked about fundraisers. We have saved up some money for this adoption, but we would treasure anything that you are willing to contribute. We have a donations goal of $10,000, most of that will go towards travel costs and the last installment of our adoption fees.
