We are Josh and Laura Blinder, Canadians living on Prince Edward Island. We have been on the adoption journey since February 2012, in pursuit of bringing home siblings between the ages of 0-7 from Zambia, Africa! Our file was accepted in Zambia in April, 2013, and children are currently being sought as a potential match. Once we get our referral (we were given the estimated timeline of 2-12 months beginning April 2013 with no new estimations) we can travel within a month to meet our kids. As per Zambian law, we will then be required to foster our children in country for three months, then await the court hearing to legalize the adoption. In all, we will be living in Lusaka, the capital of Zambia, with our kids for 3-6 months. We have raised and saved approximately $30,000 to date, but require a total of $50,000 to cover the cost of living in country along with the standard agency fees and travel expenses. We can't wait for that referral to come and for our family to double! We believe that God sets the lonely in families and He provides for every need. Thanks for your support and following our story.
