We are adopting a child!
David and I got married in August of 2016 and quickly realized we wanted to start a family. We tried on our own for years before reaching out for help. After over a year of doctor appointments, fertility drugs, and multiple tests, we began to pray for the Lord to open our eyes and hearts to the idea of adoption. After going back and forth for several months we finally came to an agreement that this is the road that we were supposed to go down.
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $45,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
