Dear Friends and Family, First off, we appreciate and thank you for considering our family. We (Bob and Jen Smith) are a happily married couple of nine years. We are in the process of adopting our first child from China through Holt International based out of Oregon. We enjoy listening and playing music, taking walks, watching movies, spending time with our friends and their families, going to the beach, and watching/participating in sport activities. We are eager to share our life with our new daughter. We became interested in adopting from China when we began studying the beautiful architecture and culture. We&'ve had several friends visit the country, including one family who adopted from China. Through these experiences, we have began researching Chinese history, culture, and cuisine and developed a love for the county and its rich history and culture. We have prayed for this child and feel that there is a hole in our lives-an empty party, which can only be filled with the addition of a child to nurture, love and share our lives with.
