We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be in preparation for welcoming a beautiful new life into our home. We hope that by inviting you into this process you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
About our Adoption: God has made it abundantly clear that He is calling our family to adopt and we are excited to have embarked on this journey! We have been seeking guidance, reading, and praying about adoption for years and we are thrilled to see what precious child God has chosen for our family. God has already been so faithful in orchestrating many details to get us to this point and we pray with confidence that He will continue to do so for everyone involved.
Our heart is for birthmothers: We are doing open domestic infant adoption. This means that our birthmother will choose to place her child with our family and our hearts are open to having a relationship with her for the years to come. **Adoption is the result of deep heartbreak and sacrifice. Our child's birthmother will always be considered the hero of our story, right after Jesus Christ. And our child will know the unconditional love and sacrifice from both.
Timing varies: We could have a placement in 2 months or 2 years! We find peace in knowing that God's timing is perfect. We ask that you join us in covering each step with prayer. The biggest thing left for us to do between now and then is raise funds. It's a little daunting, but also exciting to have God guiding our adoption every step of the way.
Spoiler alert: Adoption is EXPENSIVE. But we know that being in the center of God's calling for our family is going to be 5000x worth it. We are coming to our friends and family with open hearts, praying that God would orchestrate the details. We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the village we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. For updates on how much has been raised and how much is still needed, please don't hesitate to reach out to Brooklyn or Aryn individually. We are happy to share these numbers, but prefer to not 'publish' them to protect our adopted child. You can do a google search to get an idea =).
Please know this: we plan to _ work _ for our adoption. We would not feel comfortable asking others to donate without putting in the hours to apply for grants, matches, and whatever credits we can.

For any donation $30 or more that is given before November 26th (Thanksgiving) we would love to give you a shirt as a 'thank you' for supporting us! If you would like one, please include t-shirt size(s) and shipping address in the notes and we will get them delivered in December =). Sizes are Youth S-XL and Adult S-3XL. In order for us to see your notes, you must not be an anonymous donor. Your notes will not be shared on this website.
Our adoption agency, New Life Adoptions, is a qualifying 501(c)(3) organization that provides adoption and birthmother services in Texas. Donations are tax deductible as allowed by IRS specifications.
