We are the Borgelt family and are passionate about seeing children brought into loving families! We adopted our son Noah from China last year and are going back this year to bring home another little one from China! We have felt the burden for orphans in this world for many years and having walked through adoption with Noah our desire to see all children in loving families has only increased. David Platt has a quote that has impacted us over the years and has new and deeper meaning for us with Noah in our family. David Platt says this, in his book, Radical, "We learned that orphans are easier to ignore before you know their names. They are easier to ignore before you see their faces. It is easier to pretend they are not real before you hold them in your arms. But once you do, everything changes."
We have finished all of our home study and dossier paperwork. We have been matched with a 17 month old little boy who has a rare genetic blood disorder called Thalassemia. We are anxious to get him home so that he can receive the life giving medical care he needs.
We have been enormously blessed by those who have supported us and walked alongside us in this call to adoption in our years working to bring Noah home. Adoption is expensive. Our previous adoption was close to $45,000. We have spent around $10,000 so far on this current adoption. Though the cost is great we believe it worth every penny! We would be deeply grateful for any financial support you can give as we work toward bringing our next little one home! Thank you!!
