Where the Lord leads, we follow, and he is leading us to expand our family one more time…however, not in the way most would expect. We have felt a nudging to expand our family through adoption.

In Bulgaria most females in the known minority group are on the street, married, and pregnant by the age of 16. This eventually leads to further children in need. As if that isn’t tough enough, the government can only maintain care of these needy children until the age of 16, at which time they are given enough money to cover one month of rent and then left on their own, further contributing to this vicious cycle. This is why we have been called to adopt an older girl, and one in particular has stolen our hearts. She is 14 years old and deeply in need of a good home, love, and hope for a future.

It may surprise you that adoption has a huge price tag, totaling $30K-$40K. We need your help and the help of anyone who believes in this cause, so together we can be the hands and feet of Jesus, and help provide a new life to a child who has almost lost hope in her opportunity to have one.
