Jamie and I have big news, we are adopting!
We have been thinking and praying about adoption for years and we believe now is the time to push forward. Adoption has always been important to us. God’s call to look after the fatherless is clear throughout the Bible. Even while we were dating in college we discussed that we would love to adopt one day. At the time, we thought we would have several kids and then someday add a couple more through adoption after we had figured the whole parenting thing out. But of course, God’s plan rarely matches up exactly with ours. After a miscarriage in 2016 and subsequent difficulty getting pregnant we believe God has called us to adopt now. We have not given up having a biological baby but we are ready to expand our family through this chance to show God’s love to a child in need of a mom and dad ready to provide a permanent loving home.
We need your help. Adoption is expensive. Costs are estimated at up to $40-$50k for an out-of state domestic infant adoption after agency fees, home study, inspections, travel, court costs, birth mother expenses, and closing fees. Please consider giving.
Sincerely,
Josiah and Jamie Bragg
