We have always wanted to have children of our own- to love them, nurture them, guide them and provide them with an opportunity to make a positive impact in the world throughout their lives. As with many couples, we got married, enjoyed life without children, then began making plans to start our family. We were not prepared for the infertility battle that would ensue. After struggling for many years, we chose to forgo multiple rounds of infertility treatments, and chose the path of adoption.
Every child that comes into this world deserves a chance to be loved, to be a part of a family and to achieve all their hopes and dreams. We know there are biological parents who have made the ultimate sacrifice and chose adoption for their children, hoping there are adoptive parents willing and ready to give their child that opportunity.
We have a six month old daughter. We were chosen to be her parents through the adoption process and she was the most amazing gift and addition to our family. We know in our hearts we want nothing more than for her to grow up with a sibling close in age. There is a bond only siblings can share and we hope to complete our family by giving her a chance to be a big sister!
