Most of you on here know that we are adopting again. What you might not realize is that our new son, Andrew, will hopefully be coming home sometime in early to mid September!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome him into our home. Because this process has gone much faster than we originally anticipated, we have started a crowdfunding campaign in hopes of earning the money required for our travel to and from China and our required in-China expenses. The total cost of our adoption is over $40,000, and we have raised half of that amount. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden for us. It is not easy for us to ask for donations, but we have realized that, even with the help of loans, we are going to need some extra support from friends and relatives to make travel a reality.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
