We have been chosen by an expectant mom and her baby is due mid September!!! At this point we need about $4,000 by September in order to bring the baby home!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started an "adopt an envelope" campaign. We expect the remainder of our adoption fees to be around $15,000 (of about $30,000 total) or more and we would be so honored to have you help us carry some of the financial burden.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he or she grows up.
How it works:
You choose an "envelope" from 1-125.
Scroll down to our list of envelope numbers to make sure yours is still available, first.
Donate the amount on your envelope.
For example, if you choose envelope 54, you donate $54.
***please note if you take more than one envelope***
We'll write your name on the actual envelope we have and put it in a box for our little one to have forever. We would love to include any notes you may want us to write out and put in the envelope.
The site you are donating through (Adopt Together) will send our adoption agency a final check to cover some of our costs. We won't ever touch any of the donations personally.
You receive a tax write-off for your donation. (So cool!)
If every envelope is claimed, we'll have covered almost $8,000 of the expenses, and this way our child will forever know how many people sacrificed to bring him or her home.
