We have decided to follow the Lord's nudge in our hearts and start our adoption journey.
About a year ago, the Lord laid on my heart the possibility of adoption. I was seeing God winks everywhere…I heard sermons, saw videos, went to Bible Studies, and heard stories where it just kept coming up. The nudge for John came quite a bit later but when it did we knew that it was the Holy Spirit who spoke to him and we had to move.
Our emotions are all over the board. We are nervous and excited BUT we know that our plans are in God’s hands and we FULLY trust his plan. We are stepping out in 100% faith and can’t wait to share with you how this process goes.
We have started a fundraiser here to help with the funding that it takes to make this adoption successful. This wasn’t easy for us to do….to put our needs out there. We have a BIG goal in front of us, but our God is BIGGER!! All of the funds raised will help with the initial phase of the adoption. If the Lord leads you to donate, we say THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts! We also ask for prayers for us as we start this process. We don't know what our future holds, but we know who holds our future! Praising the Lord for all his blessings during this time.
