We first met out adopted son, Rkyer Douglas Castellanos, in a hospital in Phoenix, Arizona on December 30th, 2015. It was one in the morning when my wife, Desiree and I walked in to see our little miracle. Desiree held him and began to feed Ryker. Instantly he met Desiree's eyes as he fed on his milk. Ryker melted our hearts and we knew that God had connected us with our son. Well, fast forward roughly ten months. Ryker is a healthy, strong and joyful little boy. We daily thank God for our son. On October 26th, 2016 we received a surprise phone call from our former social worker. She announced that Ryker's birthmom and father were once again expecting a baby boy. She wondered if we were interested in adopting this little guy. Without hesitation, Desiree and I emphatically said yes! We were overjoyed by this news as we desire to have a large family. Not only that, but we feel it is important for Ryker to grow up with his biological brother. Ryer's brother is due this January. The cost for this adoption is going to be approximately $39,650. These funds are due as soon as possible. We currently do not have the funding. We strongly believe that it is God's will for us to walk by faith and move forward despite the great need. We believe that just as in Ryker's case, this next adoption will be fully funded. We believe Ryker must grow up with is biological brother. We believe that God will be glorified by this adoption story as he was by Ryker's story. Please join us in bringing Ryker's brother home by prayerfully considering donating to our adoption.
