We have always longed for children. Even with the ups and downs of our infertility struggles, we have never wavered in this desire and neither has our confidence in God. After many prayers, tears, waiting on God and guidance from our friends and families, we are excited to be on a path toward adopting an infant from right here in Texas! We are humbled and honored that God would use us to be a safe, loving family for children who will become our very own. This reminds us also of our position as adopted children of God and how much His love changes us daily. At this point, we have completed our Home Study with Hope Cottage and are officially a waiting family. A child could be placed with us in a matter of weeks or months - up to a year and a half. We are open to any ethnicity or gender. We hope that whatever the emotional, physical or mental needs of the child, God will make us up to the task. Because we have been so loved in our lives (by our awesome parents and God), we have so much love to give our own children too. In the meantime, we are in baby mode. We are preparing the nursery, saving, cutting expenses, taking on other jobs and trying to wait patiently. In spite of these efforts, we do not yet have the funds needed to complete the adoption. Along the way, people have asked what they could do to help us bring our child home. We definitely appreciate your prayers and any financial support towards our adoption costs which are tax deductible through this site. We also welcome any parenting advice or offering baby supplies.
