My wife and I began discussing adoption even before we were married. After the birth of our first child we were prompted by God to begin the process of adoption from India. Prior to this prompting, adoption always seemed like something we would do in the distant future; but when we received our prompting, we got to work. We knew we were missing a part of our family.
Update:
We have matched with a little boy with Down Syndrome, and we are thrilled to have found our son. We cannot wait to make him a part of our family and experience the joy he will bring into our lives.
