As many of you know, we have started the process of growing our family though adoption. Both our desire for another child to love and parent and the conviction that every child belongs in a family has brought us here. God has used various events to point us toward this next step and we are forever thankful for His guidance and faithfulness.
As some of you may already know, the financial costs of adoption can be overwhelming. We expect ours to cost upwards of $45,000+. We felt hesitant to fundraise as it feels humbling and also adds to the seemingly endless tasks that are required in the adoption process. However, we know that adoption is near to the heart of God and therefore matters to all of His people. God has used the Body of Christ in countless ways throughout our lives to provide and show His faithfulness. We know, without a doubt, that will also be the case as we bring our child home to our family.
We have completed our home study and are only waiting for it to be written and submitted. Our hope is that will be "active" by next month. We would love to share our hearts and more details on this process with you, for those who are interested. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions for us.
