Stephen and I have been praying about adoption for quite some time, and know that this is something God has called us to. We want to adopt because we have no doubt God gave us a very intentional desire for this. We want to adopt because we have a passion to see the fatherless set in loving homes where they can daily learn about God's love for them… because we see it as a beautiful connection to the way God has adopted us into His family… and because we believe that this will make our family stronger in faith and love. So, a year ago, we filled out an application and took the plunge into our adoption journey. On October 5, we were matched with a birthmother in Pensacola, who is due in December with a little boy.
