I have been pursuing adoption for the past 2 years, and experienced a devastating failed adoption last fall, which was not only heartbreaking but financially crushing as well. I have dreamed of adopting a child since I was a teenager, and have dedicated my professional life to children through my work as an educator. I have taught, mentored, and coached elementary-aged children for the past 15 years. I am also "Aunt Brooke" to many friends' children, and have delighted in being a part of their young lives. It is now my hope to fulfill my dream of being a mother. I really do appreciate your willingness to join in this dream with me.
