We're Kevin & Sarah Brown and we're adopting two little girls from Uganda. If you're reading this, then you're likely thinking about helping us bring them home. For that, we're forever grateful.
We'll be honest – it's not easy being on the receiving end of financial support. But we'll admit it – it's also not easy adopting three children in three years. The adoption costs are immense. But we are also straddling life on two continents (13 months down, at least 9 to go!), trying to maintain our life (house, cars, jobs, expensive unused health insurance required to avoid a legal lapse…) in the States while providing one here in Uganda.
We've been humbled to the point of tears throughout our journey not just because friends and family have helped us ease the great financial burden, but mostly because it showed how a network of love truly made it possible for all three of our children to join a forever family.
Without credit cards allowed or payment plans available, adoption naturally creates financial strain. So here we are again, humbly accepting your help in bringing home our new daughters, if you so choose.
