Why do we feel called to adopt?
Galatians 4:4-5
"But when the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law, to redeem those who were under the law, so that we might receive adoption as sons."
God has put the desire to adopt in our hearts for a long time. We believe adoption is a beautiful picture of how God gave up His only Son in order to adopt us into His family. We are heirs of God through Christ and are called sons and daughters. Adoption is our way of saying, “This child is now part of our family which we will love unconditionally.”.
What’s the financial cost of adoption from South Korea?
The cost of adoption, whether domestic or international, is costly and honestly is the biggest barrier for us in starting the adoption process. For a long time we kept placing trust in ourselves with the financials, and God convicted us to just step out in faith and trust Him that He will provide. We have decided to fundraise a portion of the cost, that’s right…this goal is just a portion! Typically South Korean adoptions estimate around $45,000.
