We are the Brown family adopting from the Dominican Republic. Our agency accepted our family into the program in July of 2012. We were told to expect 2-4 years before we would complete the process, but God had other plans! We were soon notified of a brand new waiting children&’s list for the DR… so instead of waiting for a referral at the end of our process, we were able to &’match&’ at the beginning! This cut down significally on our wait and we are now expecting to travel in April or May of 2013! Our time in-country will be 4-6 months, so we are bringing our entire family with us. We have a VERY short amount of time to fundraise and we are so appreciative of your prayers and financial support! **UPDATE** We are now adopting TWO children!
