We have BIG news! We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. We continue to be blown away by the love and support given to us during our adoption story so far. We would love to share all of the details of our story and the incredible work God is doing in our lives with anyone who is interested!
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign and are humbly asking you to come along side us on this journey. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. The fees cover a range of expenses including the home study, attorney fees, agency fees and health care and living expenses of the birth mother. This is why we have set a goal of raising $10,000.00 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. For those of you who are able and choose to help us financially, we are incredibly grateful and appreciative!
Even more importantly, we are asking for all of you to pray for our adoption story. Pray for the birth mom as she makes the courageous decision to choose life for the child and that she would feel loved through and after this process. Pray for the health and well being of the baby from conception to birth. Pray for our family as we wait patiently to welcome another child into our home and prepare our hearts for this great calling!
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he or she grows up.
