Bryan Mills

is adopting a child from United States of America

Hello from our family and thanks for reading. :)

In 2007, Bree and I got married and began our lives together. Each year that passes shows us more ways to love one another, and we're so thankful for each other. Every day is one spent with our best friend, through way more ups than downs and "for better and for worse."

Then, in 2010, God gave us our beautiful Everleigh. Everyone whose life has been touched by Evie knows that she is an unbelievably special child. She brings us delight literally every single day.

We moved to Alaska in 2014 for the next part of our journey together. After a short time in Bethel, we got the opportunity to move to Cordova. We had no idea what we'd find when we got here, but we very quickly realized that Cordova is an amazing and unique place. We call this place Home now. The community is one of a kind, the beauty around us is unparalleled, and you couldn't ask for a better place to raise a family.

Now it's 2017. For years, we've had dreams of expanding our family of three, but years of trying, frustrations, disappointments, along with various other factors, have shown us that we're going to have to be even more intentional about achieving that dream. We have decided together to pursue adoption. In January, we contacted Catholic Social Services in Anchorage and quickly signed up for their Domestic Infant Adoption course. We spent two intense days getting a LOT of excellent information about the whole process and after-adoption needs. We're very proud to be working with this excellent nonprofit group.

As you may know, adoption is extremely expensive. Some might say prohibitively expensive. Agency fees, legal fees, travel and medical expenses; all of these add up very quickly. We are excited to work with AdoptTogether.org and Pure Charity to allow those who have offered to make tax-deductible donations towards our adoption expenses. We encourage you to learn about how AdoptTogether is a unique fundraising platform for adoptions, and how you can give with confidence that the funds will be used as you intend.

We cannot adequately express how humbled and overwhelmed we have been with the love and support that we have already received. "Thank you" just isn't enough, but it is sincere from our hearts.

Thanks for joining us. This is a huge and exciting journey for us and we can't do it without you. Love, Bree & Bryan
