Hi. We are the Looks. In 2012 I (Britt) started the amazing adventure of adopting 2 children from Bulgaria. On October 9, 2013 I was matched with Jude, now 3, whom I brought home to Maine in June of 2014. We are now in process to bring home Gabriel, also from Bulgaria. I had planned to go back in a few years for a younger sister for Jude but that all changed on November 20th when I saw a photo a profile of a child with significant special needs who was living in an orphanage and was waiting for a family to call her own. I knew immediately that we were her family. In June we got to spend one incredible, precious week with Gabriel. We now await her court date and the day that we will be a family forever. Years of savings (and a generous grant) made the $34,000 cost of Jude&'s adoption possible. The total costs of Gabriel&'s adoption are estimated to be less (around $26,000), we are seeking help in fundraising the final costs ($5,200) so we can get her home as quickly as possible.
