Hey Family and Friends! It's been quite a journey to respond to God's call to adopt.
It became clear to us the day we began praying for our prospective birth mother in April of 2013. We knew nothing about who she was or her life story, but we knew that God did. So, we've been talking to Him about her ever since. We've prayed for her health and protection and we've asked that God would send people to support and encourage her along this journey.
Many friends and family joined in with prayers of your own for her, and for our baby boy, Andrew. Now, five years after the adoption of our son, we have been gifted a wonderful relationship with Andrew's birth mom and invited to care for his biological SISTER who is scheduled to arrive in the next few months!
We believe that since the beginning of time God has invited humanity to be co-creators and caretakers of all of life. What a unique blessing! While we have not been able to share in the gift of creating life, we are so excited to be blessed as caretakers of Andrew and a few extra children along the way.
