Dear Friends and Family, First off, we appreciate and thank you for considering our family. We are a happily married couple of almost nine years. We are in the process of adopting our second child from Poland through Catholic Charities of Chicago. As many of you know - our first daughter Veronica is from Poland and we would like to adopt another girl from the same children's home. We are again more than open to an older and medically fragile child who might otherwise not find a forever family. Adoption has been a wonderful experience for us. Veronica is the greatest blessing but we know that she would make a great big sister and our family is not yet complete. Adopting from Poland has been amazing as well. The culture we have adopted is itself a blessing. Any child will always know that they are a Pole and they will know their language and their culture. It is our desire to provide a home and the best opportunities for as many children as possible, but the costs of adoption are so prohibitive (well over $75,000 last time) we investigated and found this opportunity for folks to make tax deductible contributions to the effort to bring our child home.
