Our family has BIG news…we are growing again!!! We can't share many details about our daughter just yet (hopefully soon) but we are SO IN LOVE and are working really hard to bring our precious little girl home from China! We can't wait to share how God brought her into our life, and Lord willing, will make her our beloved daughter and sister!
Entering into this journey, we felt that God had placed this little girl in our life for this very reason, and we knew we would need to step out in faith and rely on him 100% every step of the way. Funding an international adoption can be a huge hurdle, and so funding 2 adoptions back to back can seem impossible. But we knew if this was God's plan he would provide, not only financially, but emotionally and physically and in every aspect.
The Lord has already shown up in so many ways and we have been able to fund the beginning steps of our adoption and move through our paperwork preparation fairly quickly. As of 9/27/18 we are officially DTC!!! (This stands for "Dossier to China," which means we shipped all of our official documents, and is a very big milestone!) And today (10/16/18) we got the news that we are officially logged in to China's system and our paperwork is in process! Now we are working to raise the funds needed to pay for our remaining adoption fees and travel expenses.
We would very much appreciate your prayers as we still await some important milestones on this journey. As soon as we can, we promise to share more about our precious girl!! And if you feel led to make a donation towards helping us bring our daughter home we would be forever grateful!
