We have BIG news! We are adopting from India!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more!
We chose India and we are both very excited to learn more about the Indian culture. It fascinates us and we are eagerly anticipating incorporating our child's culture into our family. Further, the need, even prior to COVID, is very high in India. I read that India as the highest percentage of orphans, approximately 20 million. Many children are forced into labor or are trafficked and forced into prostitution.
We can't thank you enough for your support and encouragement. It means the world to know we can count on our tribe to help us walk through this adventure. We know, especially in these times, that it will be a long walk-but so worth it!
