After some medical issues and unsuccessful attempts at getting pregnant, the thought of us growing our family through adoption was planted. We feel led to adopt a child from America. We have a completed home study and are working with a wonderful Christian organization that has the ability to work with multiple agencies; hopefully decreasing the time we wait to be matched. The adoption process is emotionally tough, and very expensive. We are looking at a total cost of approximately $45,000. This total may vary and will include things like document request, home study fees, agency fees, legal fees, expenses for the birth mom and child, travel back to the U.S. from the U.K. when we are matched and lodging. We simply don'™t have that kind of money laying around. We trust that this is God's plan for us and that he will provide. So to offset this cost, we have been saving, applying for grants, looking into zero interest loans, and organizing a few fundraisers. Let's be honest, it is not easy to ask for money, it is scary and embarrassing. The thought of money standing in the way of providing a child a Christian, loving, safe, and stable home is heart breaking. We need YOU! We understand not everyone is able to give and that'€™s ok! Funds are not all we need. Casey and I, the birth mother we know God is handpicking for us, and our future child, need your prayers. We need your emotional support, this journey is a marathon, and we are still early in the race. We know this is a big mountain and that our Savior can move them. Please help us to be God's hand and feet and make a life changing difference in the life of a child.
