Hello friends,
We are excited to announce we are adding a new baby to our family through adoption!
In December, a friend from our church put us in touch with her sister, who is expecting and chose to make an adoption plan for her baby girl. We're honored that she chose us to be the adoptive parents, and we are so excited to be welcoming this little girl in coming weeks. The baby is due in just a few weeks, but may arrive even sooner than that.
As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. We expect that our total expenses for this adoption could be in the range of $18,000-20,000. We've been able to cover the first $5,000 of that ourselves, but we need your help for the rest, and that's why we've set a goal of $13,000.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.
