與大家分享神如何改變我們，放手讓祂來寫我們生命的故事:

一直以來，我們習慣著努力經營自己想要的人生，
說是交託給神，卻仍有很多想掌控在自己的手中；
五年前，我甲狀腺發炎，身心都陷入低潮，心理有很多的難受和疑問，
在疾病中，讓我們重新認識了自己，也重新認識了神，
看見我汲汲營營的是在地上、屬於自己想要的國度，
生病讓我真實的嚮往在天上、屬神的國度，
也體會了，不論我的感覺如何改變，神從來沒有變過。

接著另一個考驗便是懷上孩子不如生病前容易，
曾經禱告，若是神的旨意，讓我們滿足於一個孩子的家庭，
但神沒有拿走那空缺的感覺，於是開始有了領養的想法，
起初，領養對我們來說是Plan B ，
了解領養複雜的手續、花費、和孩子可能有的特殊需要之後，
重重的困難，像大山一樣，讓我們踟躕不前。

神藉著祂的話和見證人一直在我們心中動工，
羅馬書8:14-15: “因為凡被　神的靈引導的，都是　神的兒子。
你們所受的不是奴僕的心，仍舊害怕，所受的乃是兒子心，因此我們呼叫阿爸，父!”
我看見了自己滿是罪的汙穢和不堪，受傷、迷失、孤苦，
至聖至善的神，只是個遙不可及、與我無關的完美，
但祂卻領養我，要我成為祂的孩子，從此我身上有祂的名字、承受祂的產業，
我這樣的罪人，竟然可以成為榮耀君王的孩子，擁有這樣尊貴的身分!
接著神也放許多有領養孩子的家庭在我們的身邊，
像雲彩般的見證人圍繞，是神預備指引道路的燈，在擔心害怕的時候，給我們亮光。
在長期的禱告中，神讓我們明白: You are chosen!
神也提醒: Why are you driven by fear not by faith?
於是領養對我們來說不再是Plan B而是對福音的回應、是個calling!

在2019年, 我們邁出信心的一大步，全然放手讓神寫我們生命的故事!
國際領養複雜的程序，需要的費用可達$40,000以上，於是我們的捐款目標設定在$30,000，

We would like to share how God has changed us and how He is writing our family story in His way!

We used to work hard to control lives in our preferred ways. Since Helen started to have thyroid issues few years ago, God has used the trial to let us see the value of His eternal kingdom more than our own earthly one. Another trial following the sickness is that having more children became challenging. Therefore, God gave us the idea of adoption, but it was a Plan B for us then. However, God used Romans 8:14-17 to let us realize that we are sinners, far away from the holy and prefect God, but He adopts us as His own children– heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ. Our lives have completely changed by God’s adoption! Through many prayers, God has shown us that “you are chosen to do it. Why are you driven by fear not by faith?” Also, God has put many adoptive families around us, and their testimonies have encouraged us when we have worries. In 2019, adoption is not a plan B for us anymore but a response to the Gospel and it is the way God is writing our family story!

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that international adoption related costs can easily total up to $40,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We would like to invite you to participate in the story that God is writing and be the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up. Your prayers are the most important support we can have. If God has led you to support us financially, we are grateful for your help to bring our child home.
