Christian & Gabrielle Robbins

are adopting 2 children from United States of America

Thank you for taking the time to visit our AdoptTogether page!! \<3

We are thankful for this opportunity to reach our dream of becoming parents! To tell you a little bit about ourselves, we are going to be age 40 & age 36 this year in 2024. Due to my surgeries for endometriosis & my husband's medical condition, we chose to proceed with fertility treatments from 2018 to 2020 while we were at younger ages. Some of the treatments failed & some ended with miscarriages, which were absolutely heartbreaking. Heaven brings us peace that it will be an even more beautiful sight. Adoption was never the last resort as it was a conversation before we decided to get married. To be honest, I have had a heart to adopt since I was a 9 year old girl during an event, hearing from a speaker Beth Moore & a missionary. A child through adoption will know they were on my heart since I was age 9 & I know God's timing will all make sense, hopefully someday soon. My husband & I will be celebrating 10 years of marriage in April 2024 which brings a mix of emotions. It is amazing to celebrate this together (with our dogs too!) & it is also overwhelming that we are still not parents. We have been blessed to witness my niece & nephew's adoption process & we are reminded of God's faithfulness every time we see them. Our path has been HARD but it will be WORTH IT!!!!! Incase you are wondering, we selected adopting 2 children on our profile because we would like our child to have a sibling. It could mean adopting twins or two separate adoptions if time & finances allow. We are thankful for the employees through adoption agencies & courageous birthmothers.

This was not easy for us to create as it is out of our comfort zone to ask for help financially but we were encouraged that our loved ones & supporters care to contribute to this journey. We know there is an extreme amount of love ready to pour into the child that will be chosen for us. We have called our amazing family & friends "The Village." They have been such a blessing that it encourages us to remain grateful. Our hearts long for our family & friends to witness what their prayers have done. We did fundraise from January 2021 to May 2021 & felt it was time to not exhaust anyone anymore. We might receive a grant from the Stork Fund of $3,000 which is another huge blessing! The Stork Fund would send the money directly to Angel Adoption if they still have the funds. It is now 2024 & this grant was offered in 2021. The Stork Fund stated they would try to honor this when the time is right. My husband Christian & I ran into some hardships the past couples years that we felt rushing to move forward with adoption would not be best for our family. We have taken adoption seriously & we know there is no "perfect time" for a child but we care to prepare the best we can. To be in a happier & healthier place, including a new home that has room for children, has been an uplifting way for us. There is always LIGHT at the end of the tunnel & it is refreshing. We have kept in touch with our contacts at Angel Adoption through it all.

The $26,200 is strictly the cost due to Angel Adoption - Lutheran Child & Family Services ($18,200) & the estimated legal fees ($8,000). It does not include the home study costs up to $3,000, our travel expenses, extra care, etc. The money raised would go towards the upfront costs to Angel Adoption, the home study, legal fees, travel expenses, & possible extra care. It would be incredible to raise enough money to go into a second adoption or help with those twins! ;) Please feel free to share our journey in hopes of reaching our goals.

We also have an IRS adoption fund account set up where people can donate more securely & comfortably. Angel Adoption - Lutheran Child & Family Services will no longer accept donations for families directly. If you would prefer to write a check to the IRS adoption fund account:

Robbins Team Adoption Fund 340 North Main Street New Stanton, PA 15672

That's not all! If you prefer, you may donate through Venmo: Gabrielle-Christian-8

Please be aware this crowd-funding site keeps a small percentage of the total amount which goes to help fund grants for other adopting families. AdoptTogether clarified that we will receive at least 95% of the funds donated by our community & the village, as we provide proof of every adoption expense.

Extra info: The money distributed through AdoptTogether is used solely for adoption related expenses. AdoptTogether will help us bridge the gap between the emotional needs & financial challenges of adoption. Donors that have access to Corporate Matching Gift programs can have their donation matched since they are an IRS approved 501c3 organization. They provide multiple ways to give per your preference. Please go to "how it works" on the AdoptTogether website for further details.
