Hello and we’re the Christiansen’s! We are here hoping to fill in the missing piece to make our family whole.
We are Kayla and Kelsey and met in December of 2014. We knew right then and there that we were our forever and made that promise in front of our friends, family and god in March of 2018. We just built our dream home and moved in the beginning of this year. It has been a whirlwind of a year and it’s getting even busier with the big news on the next step in our lives. We hope that you are able to become a part of our journey.
Motherhood has always been at the top of our life goals. Being two hopeful moms in an LGBT relationship has some hurdles of its own, but motherhood has been by far the most challenging. Adoption has always seemed like the perfect option for us. We would love the opportunity to give a child a loving home. With adoption, comes many expenses that exceed what many families can afford to complete the path to parenthood. We then, by the grace of god, came into contact with a wonderful woman looking for a loving home for her unborn baby and has found that in us. We truly could not be more blessed. Even with a private adoption, expenses for lawyers, and so much more has become so clouded with our excitement to finally start our family.
We had not planned to adopt this year or even the next. Sometimes life has different plans for you and we could not be more blessed to have had this dream nearly fall right in our laps. We show extreme gratitude to each donor. We are thankful for each piece donated to make the puzzle of our lives complete.
