We have BIG news!
We are adopting a child! This has been our calling and we are so incredibly blessed to start this journey together.
Why are we adopting? Chris and I always knew we wanted to have a family as soon as we got married in 2013. A year into our marriage, we discovered infertility issues and found out we would have a less than 8% to ever conceive. Through the heartbreak we have faced over the years and lots of praying, it is our calling to get the missing puzzle to our piece and and to find our miracle!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of [$30,000] to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. This includes in total our application fee, home study fee, newborn program fee, & training session fees, court fees, and hospital bills.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
