We are incredibly humbled and beyond thankful to announce that we are growing our family through adoption!
We are Nick and Amanda Clason. We have a 4 year old son, Hudson, and a 2 year old son named Jude. We live in the Chicago, Illinois area. Nick is a student pastor at a church and Amanda is a registered nurse.
Adoption is an overflow of the Lord’s grace and working within our hearts. We each knew that it would be a part of our family’s story before we got married and is something that we have prayed over for many, many years. The Lord’s timing is perfect. We know that full well and have been blessed to watch His plan for us unfold as He has directed our steps toward adoption. The privilege and responsibility to walk through life with this precious child whom the Lord chose for us (and potentially their mother, as well) isn’t something that we take lightly. We have, and will continue to remain immersed in prayer over the steps ahead and would so appreciate it if you would walk with us through this! Prayer is powerful. It would mean the world to us if you would prayerfully join us as we proceed in our adoption journey! The days ahead will be beautiful; but we also understand that they will be difficult at times. We highly respect the birth parent(s) who choose adoption and feel honored to be chosen as parents for a precious child.
We are excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. That being said, we know that finances are no barrier for God. We are moving forward in full confidence that He will provide the finances necessary to bring this adoption to fruition. If you feel lead in any way to financially help us on this journey, we would be so thankful.
