We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home.
Here are five facts about us.
We have been together for 15 years ( High school sweethearts)
We are Christian family
We both come from big families
I am in the medical field and my husband is in the U.S. Navy and we have two dogs
Everything we do is through God
God willing we will able to adopt and be given the chance to be parents to a beautiful child.
We have done many rounds of IUI with no success. This broke our hearts because all we wanted to do is be parents and it seemed like that dream was getting further and further away from us. We decided to stop all medical treatments in regards to our fertility treatments. That was a very difficult decision for us. We believe that it was the right choice not only for us emotionally but spiritually. Due to the lack of success with the IUI we begin to drift away from God after many months of reconnecting our hearts and minds with God we decided to try again, and unfortunately, the IUI failed again, which broke our hearts all over again we took a step back and began to pray to God on what he felt was the right decision for us, because we truly believe in our hearts through God, all things are possible and after many months of praying and soul-searching, we believe that God wanted us to adopt so then begin our journey. We have met with multiple adoption agencies, everyone giving us a different answer. We met with lifetime adoption, and instantly knew that we wanted to go through them, not only for their success rates but for the fact that they are a Christian agency.
