We have some BIG news… We’re adopting a little girl from South America!

Last summer we hosted a sweet, little 9-year-old girl named “Annie” for five weeks. She was an amazing addition to our family, and each of us Claxons fell in love with her. She eventually returned to her home country, and we’re now dedicated to bringing her back home to us… for good.

We’re beyond excited and doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome our beautiful new daughter into our home.

As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. Adoption-related expenses can be as high as $40,000 or more, so we have set a goal of $35,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents. We have been supported so incredibly well by our surrounding community (near and far) over the years, and we have faith that God will make a way for us to bring Annie home.

We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as she grows up.

    We are home!!

    We are finally home from South America and our beautiful little girl is home with us. Things are crazy but awesome. We are so thankful for everyone’s support through this process. The process continues and is by no means over since we’re home 🥴 But…we’re together and that is a blessing.
