We are adopting a child!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of 30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
We hope that by inviting you into this process, you will see yourself as part of the community we hope to build around our child as he/she grows up.
A little info about us and our adoption:
We are a military family, stationed in Okinawa Japan. We have a daughter, 5 years old, and a son, 3 years old. We love serving our country, traveling, and having adventures. Over the past year God has been nurturing this growing desire in our hearts to adopt. We are finally taking that leap of faith! We will be adopting a little one from China with Down Syndrome. We are just at the beginning of our adoption journey and we would appreciate your prayers and support. We can not do this alone. We need the body of Christ to stand beside us through this journey and help us bring our baby home.
