WE ARE ADOPTING!
We are beyond excited and are doing everything we can to be prepared to welcome a beautiful new life into our home. As part of our adoption process, we have started a crowdfunding campaign. It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $35,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $30,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.
This experience has been truly humbling thus far. There are days when we find it difficult to share our hearts' desires due to the feelings of pain and vulnerability which ensue. Then, God reminds us that we are building a community, a village to share in loving our child. This child will be known and loved by so many. Our hope lies here as we continue to press forward into the realm of uncertainty and possibility. Every time we share more about our narrative, we feel a sense of peace knowing that God is working to write the best ending for our family.
