We are so excited to be growing our family though adoption and feel so lucky to be in this process. This is something that has been on our hearts for years and we have finally taken those first steps to opening our home, hearts and arms.
Currently, we are in the “paperwork” phase as we build our profile(s) and work with our agent, prepare for the home study, etc. our profile will not go “live” for selection until majority of our funds are prepared as they need to be readily available on short notice when the time comes - I am always happy to answer any and all questions privately, but we are choosing to keep much of this journey and it’s details private for the privacy of our future baby and his/her/their expectant parents, as this story is not solely ours and we will be so lucky to be a part of theirs as well.
I will be donating ALL proceeds from my small shop (worksfromwonderland.com or instagram.com/worksfromwonderland) to our adoption costs, as well as doing some local events like paint parties and DIY classes, those funds will be put toward the initial profile start up costs, travel costs and other costs not included in this fundraiser here on this site. All donations made here on this site will be able to be wired directly to our agency, which is amazing! While a new baby brings many costs, we assure you that we will not be using any donated funds for material items, they will solely go toward adoption costs within the agency and travel expenses.
